Flight Sergeant FOSTER was posted to No. 100 Squadron, New Guinea, on the 18th January, 1943, and has taken part in active operations against the enemy for seven months.

He has completed 296 hours of operational flying including 50 sorties and 5 strikes. Many of these sorties have been long patrols carried out mainly over the sea within a few miles of large Japanese fighter bases.

Flight Sergeant FOSTER is a reliable and determined captain of Beaufort aircraft whose courage, keenness and enthusiasm are outstanding.
