Flying Officer BURNETT has been engaged as a wireless air gunner in active operations with No. 6 GR/B Squadron for fifteen months and has participated in 67 sorties including seven strikes.

Throughout his long tour of operational service Flying Officer BURNETT's outstanding ability and thorough knowledge of his duties, together with his courage and determination, have set an excellent example to the squadron.
